Drafthouse Films has released a new trailer for Michael R. Roskam’s Bullhead.

Bullhead will be screening here in Portland during the Film Festival on Saturday Feb 11th, at 12:30 PM (Whitsell Auditorium) and again on Tuesday Feb 14th, at 8:45 PM (Whitsell Auditorium).

I had a chance to watch the film recently, and it is as intense as this trailer makes it out to be. The lead performance by Matthias Schoenaerts is brutal and heartbreaking.

Bullhead has been nominated for Best Foreign Picture at the Oscars this year, and I’ll definitely be cheering it on.
